- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 4 bell peppers (assorted colors, seeded and sliced)
- 2 yellow onions (sliced)
- 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown sausages on both sides, about 2 minutes per side. You don’t need to cook them through, you are just looking to add a little color.
- Add marinara sauce, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to your slow cooker. Stir to combine.
- Add sausages, peppers, onion. Stir once more.
- Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours (recommended) or high 3-4 hours until sausage is cooked through and veggies are tender.
- If desired, remove and slice sausage into 1-inch pieces and add back to the slow cooker. Allow to cook 15 more minutes.
- Serve warm on its own, on rolls, or over pasta or mashed potatoes.
